DARREN AKA "DAZZA"

Born in England, the older one of the duo, and the self proclaimed comedian of the channel!

There is not many activities he has not done. Cage diving with Great White sharks, check. Sky diving, check. Suba diving, check. Jet boat Navigator, check.

As a young kid he and his family were due to relocate to Tehran (Iran) but due to a change with his Dad's job, they immigated to Australia instead.

During his travels around Australia, he landed in Cairns, worked as a Resort Porter and in his spare time played Soccer (he is English remember). His team then travelled and toured Europe for 4 weeks, played in freezing conditions of Germany, Denmark, The Netherlands and England. They didn't win too many games but the experience was unmeasurable.

He often reminices about the Contiki tours he did in Australia and Europe, telling anyone that will listen, that it was the best decision of his life to travel far and wide, with like minded travellers.

Some of his most favourite destinations he has travelled to include: North Wales, Abu Dhabi, Maldives, Switzerland and Austria.

Darren travels as he wants to see and experience mainy cultures, learn their way of life, and be involved in their events and activties. But there is one thing we won't do, and that is eating some weird looking animal internal organs "s**t", as he puts it, it is a firm no, so dont dont expect it!

SHARON AKA "SHAZZA"

The Real "Aussie" of the channel, the one with the actual qualifications in Tourism!

Sharon attributes her real desire to live in the Australian Outback, is due to a chance viewing of a short film at the local Town Hall when she was about 8 years of age. The film showed the travels of the then famous Australia Explorer, Alby Mangels, and she is pretty sure she met him that night too, as he was selling the tickets at the front door. This memorable event, was soon followed by her win of a photographic book about the travels of another well known Australian, Harry Butler, where he too ventured to many remotes regions of Australia.

After studying Tourism and Business Management at University, Sharon embarked on the trip of a life time, by accepting a job over the phone, site unseen, to manage a Tourist Information Centre in middle of no where, thousands and thousands of kilometres from any major City, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. It was a calculated decision by Sharon to do such a thing, as she knew it would allow her to continue to travel, go on many free tours, and stay in various accommodation properties, all whilst being paid a weekly wage!

Not well travelled internationally, but a chance meeting with Darren, has given Sharon the confidence and the opportunity to start travelling overseas, and she has really enjoyed seeing parts of Europe, UAE and the UK.

Sharon is definitely more adventurous in her food choices, and LOVES coriander, chilli and and pretty much all South East Asian type of food and dishes, she just needs to somehow convince Darren to at least try them!
